WCDP organisers are excited to announce that Bloomberg Philanthropies will host a Welcome Reception for all delegates and volunteers at the World Conference on Drowning Prevention 2023. 

 The Bloomberg Philanthropies-hosted reception is the perfect way to end day one of the conference – at sunset in the Summer Garden, with delicious local produce and beverages, meeting new and old friends.

For over a decade, Bloomberg Philanthropies has supported drowning prevention efforts around the world. The Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Initiative to Prevent Drowning focuses on identifying and implementing cost-effective and sustainable drowning prevention interventions by enhancing data collection and supporting supervision of young children in day-care and survival swim instruction for children.

All delegates, and event volunteers will receive an invitation via e-mail. No RSVP is required, but please mark your calendars.
